Automated Pad Work

Ancon’s use of automated bundle cleaning equipment was well before it became mainstream, we developed some of the original tube lancing machines and they were built in house. With the advent of newer technology and the continued goal to fully remove our employees out of harms way. Ancon has purchased and built more hands free automated Heat Exchanger cleaning equipment.

The ATL 5000 is an NLB manufacured fully contained cab operated 5 lance ID machine operating at pressures of up to 20,000 psi.

The IBC 5 is a Pienemann manufactured 5 lance ID machine with a fully contained cab to keep the operator safe and with a sweeping 360 degree view. This also operates up to 20,000 psi.

All of Ancons OD Heat Exchanger cleaning units are remote operated , and were built in house. Today we utilize our dual arm, triple arm and single unit machines on bundle pads performing online maintenance work at many facilities.

We also offer remote operated Articulating arm OD cleaners and robotic arm track cleaning units.

Fin Fan Exchanger

Ancon offers the cleaning and re-tubing of Fin Fan Exchangers on site and in place at the customer's facility, saving the customer time and money by using the existing headers, frames and piping. Ancon has the tooling to replace tubes ranging in sizes from 5/8" OD to 1.5" OD. The new tubes are "sealed" by rolling the tube ends into the tube sheet using tube expanders with a torque controlled rolling motor thus guaranteeing no leaks.


Ancon will remove the plugs from the Header; clean the ID of the tubes utilizing high pressure water at 10K, 20K or 40K depending on the appropriate specification. The OD of the tubes will be cleaned by high pressure water or by foam designed specifically for the de-fowling of the finned tubes. Once this all has taken place and the tubes have passed the cleanliness test they will be pressure tested and any leaks will be addressed.


Once the leaks are identified the re-tubing will take place on site and in place.

Fixed Tube Exchanger

Ancon offers the cleaning and re-tubing of Fixed Tube Exchangers on site and in place at the customer’s facility, saving the customer time and money by using the existing headers, frames and piping. The new tubes are “sealed” by rolling the tube ends into the tube sheet using tube expanders with a torque controlled rolling motor thus guaranteeing no leaks.


The cleaning of the ID and the OD of the tubes will be accomplished by hydro-blasting with high pressure water at 10K, 20K or 40K depending on the appropriate specification. Once this all has taken place and the tubes have passed the cleanliness test they will be pressure tested and any leaks will be addressed.

Liquid Vacuum Trucks

Highly trained operators and a modern versatile fleet of wet and dry mobile vacuum units enable Ancon to achieve the toughest jobs in the industry, saving customer’s time and reducing costs.


Ancon maintains a fleet of liquid vacuum trucks throughout the western United States. Utilizing both black iron as well as stainless steel, Ancon has the capabilities to work with any type of material, including flammables and corrosive materials. All Ancon drivers are 40-hour HZWPR trained, with detailed internal training for handling hazardous materials, transportation, manifesting and emergency spill contingency plans. Our fleet includes both 70BBL and 120BBL trucks allowing us to meet your needs and requirements.

Wet-Dry Vacuum Trucks

Ancon’s fleet of Industrial vacuum loaders are designed to pneumatically convey dry, slurry or liquid material through a vacuum hose at distances up to 500 feet. These powerful units are capable of generating up to 6000cfm to facilitate the removal of even the densest of material up to 8’’ in diameter. Ancon’s industrial vacuum trucks offer reliable clean up solutions as well as aiding in the recovery of recyclable materials as an asset to preserving our environment.
